Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Project Accountant to join our San Diego, CA office. This in-office role focuses on monthly financial analysis, revenue recognition, and accurate billing in MIS systems, working closely with Project Managers.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years accounting experience, a degree in accounting or finance, and strong Excel/Word skills. You will manage contracts, coordinate receivables, and support travel to other offices as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals.
  • High degree of professionalism and strong people skills.
  • Must be an excellent team player.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Experience using computerized accounting systems.

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Project Accountant to join our San Diego, California (CA) office! This is an in-office position based ot 401 B St #600, San Diego, CA 92101.

Responsibilities
  • Monthly financial analysis and on-going revenue recognition
  • Work with Project Managers in a variety of disciplines
