Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Project Accountant for our Twin Cities accounting team in Saint Paul, MN. This office-based role focuses on monthly financial analysis, revenue recognition, billing, and contract management, with travel to other regional offices.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's in accounting or finance, strong accounting fundamentals, and proficiency with Excel and Word. Experience with computerized accounting systems is preferred.

This office-based position is located at our Twin Cities office at767 Eustis Street,Suite 100,Saint Paul, MN.

Responsibilities

• Monthly financial analysis and on-going revenue recognition
• Work with Project Managers in a variety of disciplines
• Meeting multiple critical deadlines on a monthly basis
• Ensure all billing transactions are completed and accurately recorded in MIS system
• Prepare invoices and complete monthly billing
• Contract management and review
• Coordinate and pursue receivables
• Monthly travel to other offices within the region

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
• High degree of professionalism and strong people skills
• Must be an excellent team player
• Strong knowledge of Excel and Word required
• Experience using computerized accounting systems

Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000 depending on applicable experience.
