Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a dedicated RN for our 10-bed Progressive Care Unit in Georgia. You will deliver intermediate-level monitoring and care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support professional development in a compassionate, patient‑centered environment.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, communicating with patients and families, and ensuring safe, evidence-based care while maintaining thorough EHR documentation and participating in unit quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in Georgia.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Engages patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Upholds a culture of safety and participates in quality initiatives.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
