Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 10-bed Progressive Care Unit. This full-time role involves 36 hours weekly, with 12-hour shifts from 7P to 7A, including weekend requirements.

The unit emphasizes teamwork, direct patient care, and adherence to safety and evidence-based practices. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Formación

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives, and care improvement.
• Assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with family involvement.
• Monitor patients, adjust care plans, and coordinate with the care team.
• Promote a culture of safety and professional ethics.
• May administer medications per clinical protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and participate in education.
