Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification.
• Active RN license to practice in the state(s) served.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, involving patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, mobilize resources, and collaborate with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Uphold and promote a culture of safety.
• Continuously evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes and take action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Communicate effectively, provide feedback, and delegate appropriately to the team.
• Pursue professional development and maintain certifications.
