Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Progressive Care (Step down) Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem shifts in Youngstown, OH. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, coordinate with Med-Surg and ICU, and develop patient care plans to improve outcomes.

The role requires strong organizational skills, collaboration with the care team, and adherence to safety standards. Eligible candidates have RN licensure and BLS; ACLS preferred with 6 months to obtain.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Per diem shift with 24 hours in 6 weeks.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred at hire, ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct patient assessments, plan and evaluate care
• Coordinate care across hospital departments
• Act as patient safety advocate and quality improver
• Administer medications per policies
• Other duties as assigned
