Job summary

Mercy Health is hiring a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care at St. Anne Hospital.

The role involves collaborating with the care team, assessing patient needs, and coordinating care across departments to ensure safe and effective treatment plans. The ideal candidate has an RN license, at least 1 year of RN experience, and ideally a BSN with BLS/ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience (required)
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred, not required)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS or ACLS certification (preferred; ACLS within 6 months)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient care
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and develop care plans
• Act as liaison for patient care coordination across hospital departments
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Administer medications safely per policies and procedures
