Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCU) - St. Rita's. You will oversee planning and delivery of patient care in a step-down setting, coordinating with Med-Surg and ICU teams to optimize outcomes.

The role requires a current RN license, BLS/ACLS is preferred and can be obtained after hire. New grads are welcome to apply, and a sign-on bonus may be available depending on qualifications and market.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience (required)
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS or ACLS preferred; ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Assess patients, create and adjust care plans.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments.
• Act as patient safety advocate and support quality improvement.
• Administer medications per policy and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned
