Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN to provide high-quality nursing care in a step-down setting at West Hospital. The role emphasizes coordination between Med-Surg and ICU, with patient safety and care planning at the forefront.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience is required.
• 1 year of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
• BLS or ACLS certification is preferred or needed within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop plans of care.
• Administer medications according to policy and safety standards.
• Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement.
• Provide patient care in a Progressive Care (Step down) unit setting.
