Job summary

MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will coordinate with physicians and nurses to ensure high-quality outcomes and compassionate support for patients and families.

The role requires 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting, strong assessment and medication administration skills, and excellent communication and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices.
• Ability to communicate findings effectively and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process and facility policies.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the care team.
• Provide patient and family education on conditions and post-discharge care.
