Job summary

MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care through the nursing process. You will work with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes and compassionate support for patients and families.

The role involves medication administration, assessments, education, and collaboration on individualized care plans, while maintaining infection control and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years or student rotations in acute care are required.
• Strong knowledge of nursing processes and clinical practices.
• Ability to assess, document and communicate patient findings effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care per protocols and orders.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses and team members for care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and discharge plans.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record.
