MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time role in our acute care setting. The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and support families throughout treatment and discharge planning.

The position requires RN licensure with Basic Life Support and offering opportunities to advance through professional development.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure and BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred per unit guidelines

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and protocols.
• Assists during procedures within competency scope and supports physicians and care teams.
• Document care and educate patients and families; ensure accurate charting.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor effects, and report changes to the team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code team activities as appropriate.
• Maintain infection control practices and patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with care teams to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
