Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the PCU to deliver safe, patient-centered care and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams. The role requires maintaining current RN licensure and completing unit-specific certifications within 90 days of hire.

In PCU, nurses care for adults with higher acuity, performing assessments every 2–4 hours and managing a range of conditions from dysrhythmias to respiratory status. Mercy offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing with a diploma, ADN, or BSN.
• Maintain an active RN license in the hiring state/compact.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and other unit-specific requirements as posted.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, patient-centered nursing care and accountability.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams and evaluate care.
• Perform ongoing assessments; re-evaluate every 2–4 hours for PCU patients.
