Job summary

Mercy Health's Progressive Care Unit (PCU) seeks an experienced RN to deliver high‑quality nursing care, bridging Med‑Surg and ICU. You will assess patient status, develop care plans, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment during nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

This full‑time role offers a competitive benefits package, self‑scheduling, opportunities for professional development and tuition support. BSN preferred; active RN license and BLS/ACLS required or obtainable within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; RN licensure required
• BLS or ACLS certification preferred/required within 6 months of hire
• Experience as LPN or Patient Care Tech/CNA preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and develop care plans to improve outcomes
• Serve as service line between Med-Surg and ICU units
• Administer medications per policies and procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team and coordinate patient care across departments
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
