Job summary

Mercy in Centerton, Arkansas is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care in a Progressive Care Unit, applying the nursing process and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license (state or compact), have ACLS or be willing to obtain, and demonstrate competency in dysrhythmia interpretation and critical thinking across neuro, cardiac and GI cases. 2–4 hour reassessments and a commitment to Mercy’s mission are expected.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of Arkansas or compact licensure.
• Graduated from a nursing program (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN).
• Experience as a nurse in high-acuity or PCU settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and Mercy Service Standards.
