Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Plano is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. You will oversee patient care, perform assessments, create care plans, and educate patients and families within a dynamic team. The role emphasizes safety, evidence-based practice, and collaboration across disciplines.

The unit supports professional growth with mentoring, Leveling Up opportunities, and a culture focused on patient safety and Zero Harm. Shift: FT Days, 6:45 am - 7:15 pm.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license in good standing and BLS certification.
• Min of 2.5 years of Acute Care Hospital Experience.
• ACLS preferred or able to complete post hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care using a professional practice model.
• Perform patient assessments, create care plans, and document progress.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with the care team.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and ensure patient safety.
