Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee patient care within a professional practice model. You will perform thorough assessments, develop and adjust care plans, and educate patients and families to support informed health decisions.

As part of the team, you will delegate tasks, document learning needs, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe, effective care. Texas nursing standards guide all actions and ongoing professional growth is expected.

Qualifications

• RN license and accredited nursing program graduate.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting.
• Familiarity with Texas Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families; empower them to participate in care.
• Delegate tasks safely and coordinate with the health team.
• Document learning needs and progress in the EMR.
• Collaborate with colleagues and community partners to plan care.
