Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit in McKinney, TX. You will oversee patient care, perform assessments, and develop care plans for a 32-bed medical PCU with a 1:4 patient ratio.

The role requires at least 1 year of PCU RN experience, a valid RN license, and BLS certification. Night shifts are 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with rotating weekends and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• RN license
• BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days)
• Graduate nursing program required

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care using a professional practice model.
• Perform detailed clinical assessments and plan care accordingly.
• Educate patients and families, ensuring understanding of care plans.
• Delegate tasks based on patient condition and team competencies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement care plans.
