Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification or to obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Grad of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Possess and maintain current SCN/BLS or ACLS as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans, adjusting as needed to reach outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members on health topics.
• Document learning needs and provide teaching to promote understanding of treatment plans.
• Delegate tasks carefully and coordinate with colleagues and the care team.
• Maintain patient safety, quality of care, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate teamwork and contribute to peers’ development and community service.
