Job summary

UNC Health Wayne is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the 7th floor. The PCU is a specialized 28-bed unit serving adults with acute and chronic cardiac conditions, offering continuous monitoring and frequent nursing assessments.

As a member of the patient care team, you will apply the nursing process, lead care delivery, and collaborate with providers and staff. Prior experience and NC RN licensure with BLS/ALS are emphasized, with a focus on safe, holistic

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in NC and BLS/ALS as required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care per orders and standards.
• Individualize care plans using professional judgment and update progress.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team.
• Delegate appropriately and maintain safety with resources.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in PI activities.
