Qualifications

• BSN required or enrolled and obtain BSN within 5 years of hire; grandfathering applies.
• eNLC license may apply; verify with NC BON.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred.
• One year of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the provider.
• Document care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of meds, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
