Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN license and Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• ACLS, PALS or NRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in line with policies and the nursing process.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatments and follow-up care.
