Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Programmer 2 - Range Network to support our government customer located in Kekaha, Hawai`i. The role focuses on development, deployment, and support of MIS applications, working within SDLC and DoD compliance.

The candidate will develop and test code, write complex SQL, support Maximo and other databases, and prepare documentation. Required are a Bachelor's in CS or related field, DoD 8570 IAT II clearance, and relevant programming experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (HS+8 years in programming/Maximo allowed)
• Oracle Certified Professional preferred or Microsoft Azure DBA equivalent
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Write, modify, and test codes and scripts to support MIS applications
• Test, debug, diagnose issues in MIS applications (e.g., Maximo)
• Develop complex SQL queries for internal/external data requests
• Support database products (Oracle, MS SQL Server) within PMRF
• Prepare and publish user/operator/program documentation
• Assist IT and Cyber Security to comply with DoD requirements
• Provide user training and participate in management meetings
• Prepare status and technical reports for senior management
• Migrate/import data and update workflows as needed
