Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to support the PMRF networks in Kekaha, Hawai'i. The role involves entry-level oversight of Linux/Windows systems, security hardening, and daily administration for classified and unclassified networks.

Responsibilities include deploying software, applying DISA STIGs, managing access, and scripting routine maintenance. A Top Secret clearance and DoD 8570.1M IAT II+ certification are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience in information technology.
• Industry certifications may substitute for experience.
• Basics of PC operation, software, and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide entry level systems administration for PMRF networks.
• Deploy and maintain Linux/Windows workstations and servers.
• Apply DISA STIG security configurations on applicable systems.
• Manage users/groups via centralized directory for authentication.
• Operate systems, VM management, and service control.
• Prepare status reports and technical briefs as required.
• Automate maintenance tasks with shell scripting.
• Assist lab environment testing and vendor interactions.
