Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC seeks a Network Engineer II (Part Time) to support a government customer out of Kekaha, Hawai'i. The role covers network engineering, security, administration, and management for classified and unclassified PMRF networks, including configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls in alignment with DoW/DoN/PMRF policies.

The ideal candidate has a DoD 8570/8140 IAM II, CCNA, IAT II, and at least two years in network administration, with strong problem solving and

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of network administration experience.
• Knowledge of IT networks and advanced IT networking concepts.
• Proficient in operating personal computers and standard office equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, and configures network infrastructures including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Develops engineering and security implementation plans for new networks.
• Provide escalation support and training to junior staff.
