Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is looking for a Network Engineer II (Part Time) to support our government customer at PMRF in Kekaha, Hawai'i. This role involves network engineering, security, administration, and management of both classified and unclassified networks in line with DoW/DoN/PMRF policy.

Responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices, maintaining STIG compliance, documenting topology, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• A.S. degree or four years of directly related network administration experience may substitute for an A.S. degree.
• Advance certifications (DoD 8570/8140 IAM I, II, or III) may substitute for a degree.
• Cisco CCNA Certification is required.
• DoD 8570/8140: IAT II is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, and configures all network hardware and software for classified/unclassified infrastructures.
• Develops engineering, security implementation, and integration plans for new systems.
• Provides escalation support and training to junior team members.
