Job summary

LGBT Life Center is seeking a Program Support Specialist to assist daily operations of pantry, housing, and transportation programs in Norfolk. This role supports client intake, outreach, and case management activities, ensuring resources reach those in need with dignity and confidentiality.

The position is full-time and reports to the Support Services Program Manager, with benefits including health coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with issues related to housing and food insecurity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation and maintenance of pantry, ensuring stock and accessibility.
• Coordinate client intake, outreach, and documentation.
• Support housing intake, eligibility review, and applications.
• Assist with transportation coordination and scheduling.
• Provide administrative support and keep confidential records.
