Job summary

ARES Corporation in Merritt Island, FL, supports NASA's Artemis program by providing program management and support services for the KLXS contract. As KLXS Manager you will lead the Program Support Office, oversee a team of professionals, and ensure alignment with program objectives, schedules, and customer satisfaction.

This full-time onsite role requires strong leadership, planning, and people development, with a focus on process improvement, risk management, and stakeholder communications,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven line management experience with at least 8 direct reports.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple program-support activities.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the PMO and PM with program management activities, process development, leadership, and strategy.
• Lead, plan, and direct a team of professionals working in Program Support functions – e.g. board support, configuration management, strategic communications, risk management, Intern programs and more.
• Manage approximately 35 Program Support employees and subcontractors and develop and mentor junior employees, to facilitate their future growth. You'll create personal development plans for individuals in your team, and recruit internally and externally when necessary.
• Ensure performance, compliance, and sustained process improvement initiatives within the organization.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers and internal stakeholders, including NASA EGS Leadership and ensure strong customer satisfaction.
