Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory seeks a Program Assistant to support the thrift store program and ensure compliance with its rehabilitation standards. You will help beneficiaries, maintain records, and assist in program operations within a residential/institutional setting.

Responsibilities include orientations, safety oversight, documentation, and coordinating activities, with equal emphasis on support and administrative duties in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Enforce house rules and maintain overall center security.
• Conduct new beneficiary orientations including facility tours.
• Lead weekly house meetings.
• Supervise medication calls and ensure proper documentation.
• Respond to beneficiary inquiries and emergencies.
• Complete incident reports and Safe From Harm documentation.
• Maintain daily reports and electronic data entries.
• Document program violations and incidents.
• Monitor and ensure program compliance.
