Job summary

RTX is seeking a Program Supplier Quality Engineer (PSQE) at our Tucson, AZ facility to ensure supplier quality across the supply chain and drive continuous process improvements.

You will lead source surveillance, perform on-site inspections, and support design reviews while applying APQP, RCCA, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, and lean methods. This onsite role requires up to 50% travel and a U.S. Secret security clearance; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with at least 5 years’ supplier quality or engineering experience.
• Experience with SPC, FMEA, QFD, PPAP, and ISO/AS quality standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flow-down of product and process requirements to suppliers.
• Interpret quality requirements and ensure supplier compliance.
• Perform on-site surveillance, inspections, and corrective action reviews.
• Drive continuous product and process improvements using RCCA, SPC, Lean methods.
• Participate in design reviews, qualification tests, and APQP processes.
