Job summary

RTX Corporation in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Program Supplier Assurance Engineer to drive supplier quality improvements. This hybrid role combines on-site and remote work, with responsibilities spanning supplier surveillance, design reviews, and process validations.

You will lead root-cause analyses, participate in program and technical reviews, and develop KPIs to measure supplier performance. A STEM degree and 5+ years in quality or aerospace engineering are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) required.
• Experience with quality engineering, manufacturing or related field; DoD/AS9100 knowledge a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, FMEA, QFD and APQP standards requested.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site Source Surveillance and Corrective Action reviews.
• Lead design reviews, process change reviews, qualification tests, and equipment validation.
• Develop KPI and metrics to measure supplier quality performance.
• Conduct supplier factory process walks and risk assessments.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement containment and corrective actions.
• Communicate status and issues to Raytheon leadership and customers.
