Job summary

RTX is seeking a qualified Quality / Supplier Assurance professional for our Tucson campus. This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, with experience in SAP/PRISM and quality systems.

You will drive containment and root cause actions, coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering, and maintain key metrics and supplier communications to improve factory performance. Onsite work only.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and two years of experience in related Quality, Operations, Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive efforts to return nonconforming products to forward flow within Raytheon factories.
• Analyze supplier defect data to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationships across multiple support functions, including Operations, Quality, and Engineering, to influence outcomes.
• Represent supplier assurance as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories.
• Generate and update quality notifications.
• Maintain key metrics to monitor and improve process performance.
• Communicate with Raytheon leadership through business reviews and status meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce the impact of nonconformance issues on factory operations.
