Job summary

Tri-City Mental Health Authority seeks a Program Supervisor (Peer Support) to oversee non‑clinical behavioral health staff across ICM Adult, ICM Child/TAY, and BHSA programs in the Los Angeles area. You’ll supervise Peer Support Specialists, ensure service quality, and coordinate daily operations.

The role requires 3+ years of client work with 1+ year in leadership, plus a Peer Support Certification and a CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience delivering direct behavioral health services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience in a Full-Service Partnership (FSP) program is preferred.
• Certification as a Peer Support Specialist is required at appointment and maintained throughout employment.
• California Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record.
• An associate degree is required; an advanced degree may be requested depending on assignment.
• A background in public administration, behavioral health, psychology, or related field is expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, coordinate, review, and participate in work of Peer Support Specialists in assigned programs.
• Develop and adjust staffing schedules to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Coordinate staff training on operations, policy, and changes affecting service delivery.
• Prepare and submit budget requests; monitor resources and funding priorities.
• Provide direct services within scope of practice and support client care decisions.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to identify community needs and coordinate services.
• Develop new programs and evaluate effectiveness; draft relevant policies and procedures.
