Job summary

Tri-City Mental Health Authority seeks a Program Supervisor (Peer Support) to oversee Peer Support Specialists within Mobile Crisis Care and Adult Outpatient programs. The role provides supervision, directs daily operations, and ensures compliance with policies, while collaborating with management and community partners to improve services.

The ideal candidate has 3 years' client services experience with supervisory exposure, a Peer Support Certification, and a California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires associate degree in relevant field; advanced degree may be required depending on assignment or funding.
• Three years of progressively responsible client services experience with at least one year in a lead/supervisory role.
• Peer Support Specialist Certification and California driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate work of Peer Support Specialists in MCC and AOP programs.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and disciplinary action as needed.
• Coordinate staff training and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Develop budgets and monitor unit financial resources and staffing needs.
• Provide direct non-clinical behavioral health services as appropriate and ensure client confidentiality.
