Job summary

Project for Pride in Living seeks a Program Supervisor to lead Family Services and Youth Services staff in South Minneapolis, guiding resident-centered, housing-focused programming using Person-Centered, Harm Reduction and Housing First practices.

The role partners with residents, property management and local communities, coordinates workshops, and provides supervision, coaching and performance evaluations to ensure top-quality service delivery and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and talent management.
• Experience in strength-based service management and developing housing service plans.
• Strong group facilitation, mediation, interpersonal and outreach skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, or DBT skills a bonus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, proof of insurance and a reliable vehicle.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field; 2–3 years in behavioral health and supportive housing.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise and support Family Services and Youth Services Coordinators.
• Collaborate with staff on participant situations and provide coaching.
• Plan and facilitate community building activities, resident meetings, and engagement with larger communities.
• Coordinate and lead workshops on housing, financial literacy, employment and technology, parenting, DBT skills.
• Engage with participants to assess strengths and barriers and create goal plans.
• Support participant health and wellness through connections to physical, mental health, and recovery resources.
• Assist participants to maintain or increase income through benefits assistance or volunteering, education and employment activities.
