Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive, person-centered supervision to individuals and team members.
• Assist individuals with daily living needs and encourage engagement in home and community activities.

• Complete required documentation and communicate updates related to programming and shifts.

Program Supervisor

Harry Meyering Center is a non‑profit focused on supporting developmentally disabled individuals in the community with a person‑centered way of thinking.

Job Purpose: Make an impact as a Program Supervisor by leading a team dedicated to providing quality, person‑centered support. In this role, you’ll oversee day‑to‑day operations, supervise employees, ensure the home is well maintained, and help create a safe, positive environment for the individuals we support. Services are delivered in both residential settings and the community. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with administrative hours arranged around required direct care shifts.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, full-time, 40 hours per week.

Location: Faribault, MN.

Wage

• Starting wage is $22.00 per hour.
• After 90 days, staff are eligible for $22.50 per hour.
• After 1 year, staff are eligible for $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of supervisory experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a positive role model for staff and individuals served.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with an insurable driving record (unless otherwise noted).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with strong interpersonal skills; able to problem‑solve and respond effectively in emergencies.
• Ability to facilitate conflict resolution and apply basic behavioral concepts.
• Positive attitude and strong advocacy skills.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Must pass a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study.
