Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking a Program Supervisor to manage the community outreach and operations component of the assigned meaningful day program. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring documentation, and coordinating with PCP specialists.

The position follows a Mon-Fri 8am-4pm schedule, with responsibilities spanning transportation, safety, and program quality. Competitive benefits are provided by Catholic Charities.

Qualifications

• AA degree or higher in Special Education, Psychology, Mental Health or related field.
• Two years of experience in the developmental disabilities field. Must include supervision experience.
• Professional experience delivering community-based services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Advanced reasoning abilities and good judgement.
• Advanced written and verbal communication, with strong relational skills.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of COMAR & HCBS Final Rule, waivers, service definitions and regulations.
• Attend and complete agency mandated trainings and maintain certifications.
• Ability to utilize computer systems and software to perform position functions.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment where people are valued and encouraged to develop to their fullest potential, promoting dignity and rights.
• Supervise implementation of individual and general programming for assigned day program individuals; document progress, PCPs, MARs, behavior plans.
• Provide daily observation and supervision of individuals and manage daily attendance reports with the Manager.
• Attend PCP meetings and provide input with the Manager and PCP Specialist.
• Assist manager in monitoring safety, medical and dietary compliance.
• Administer medication and provide program coverage as needed.
• Serve as back-up for the Manager of Community Supports and Day Program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Develop ongoing daily schedules in conjunction with PCP Specialists and evaluate activity effectiveness.
