Job summary

Brightpoint invites you to join our mission-driven team in Chicago, overseeing the 24/7 Crisis Nursery and related family support programs. This role leads staff, ensures continuous coverage, and collaborates with funders to meet licensing and reporting requirements.

Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in social work (or related field) with relevant experience; supervisory experience preferred, plus bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in social work or related field with two years’ relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field with four years’ relevant experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience dealing with families in crisis and effective crisis intervention skills preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and evaluates crisis nursery and family support staff; training and program plans.
• Implements personnel policies, hiring, performance appraisals, and salary changes.
• Oversees program plan and ensures full implementation.
• Plans and conducts regular staff meetings.
• Provides case consultation and supervision to staff.
• Coordinates with funders and partners to meet licensing and reporting requirements.
• Monitors quality improvement processes, outcomes, and funding reports.
• Ensures 24/7 coverage of the program.
