Job summary

HELP Foundation Inc. is seeking a Program Specialist in Cleveland Heights, OH. You will supervise residential program services to ensure high-quality outcomes and compliance with plans and policies.

The role requires coordination with SSA’s, documentation accuracy, and staff training to implement ISP goals. Candidates should have experience in developmental disabilities and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; a 4-year degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities.
• Minimum of 1 year understanding, interpreting and implementing consumer ISP goals and objectives.
• At least 2 years of experience using and/or reviewing service documents and records.
• Above-average knowledge of provider licensure rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong time management and organization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must carry an Agency phone and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consumer programmatic documentation, including skill development documents and behavior support plans.
• Lead team communications with SSA’s and coordinate staffing needs.
• Assess clients and collect/analyze data on responses to interventions.
• Ensure informed consent is assessed and documented.
• Organize and maintain consumer files and participate in client team meetings.
• Train staff on consumer service plans and communicate plan changes.
