The Verland Foundation Inc. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is seeking a Program Specialist to advocate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will develop, supervise and coordinate each Individual Support Plan (ISP) and ensure medical needs are addressed, while documenting plans and outcomes for state licensing. Based in the Upper St Clair Area (PA 15241), this salaried exempt role requires on-call availability 24/7, strong written and verbal communication, and the

Qualifications

• Must have specialized training or experience with individuals with IDs/IDD.
• Ability to develop and coordinate ISP documents and reviews.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and meetings.
• Willingness to be on-call 24/7 and lead staff training.
• Knowledge of state licensing requirements related to ISP and plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop, supervise and coordinate each Individual Support Plan (ISP).
• Ensure medical needs are addressed and documentation is accurate.
• Monitor progress, and update ISP content to meet licensing requirements.
• Provide ISP training to Program Coordinators and DSPs.
• Schedule and attend medical appointments and monitor follow-up.
