Job summary

The Centers is seeking an IPS Supported Employment and Education Specialist in Cleveland, OH to help individuals with mental health challenges obtain and maintain competitive employment and education aligned with their strengths and goals.

The role focuses on field engagement with job seekers, employers, and partners, managing caseloads, driving program outcomes, and meeting revenue goals through OOD billing mechanisms.

Qualifications

• Requires strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in community settings.
• Experience in human services, customer service, sales, or workforce development preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally to engage with job seekers, employers, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Engage job seekers in community settings preferred by the individual (homes, libraries, schools, businesses).
• Assess vocational and educational interests and preferences through real-world interactions.
• Develop individualized Career Profiles and employment/education plans with input from clients and teams.
• Conduct at least six in-person employer contacts per week to build networks.
• Provide job search support, applications, follow-ups, and interview practice.
