Job summary

CLEAResult seeks a Program Field Specialist to deliver energy efficiency services to income-qualified households. You will oversee contractors, guide in-home assessments, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to program guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in field energy, HVAC, or related sectors, a HS diploma, and may hold BPI/HERS certifications. Valid driver's license required for travel to customer homes in MS/LA.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant field, construction, HVAC, or energy efficiency experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications (BPI, HERS, etc.) a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee contractor network delivering in-home energy assessments and audits for low-income customers.
  • Oversee installation of energy-saving measures in customer homes.
  • Educate customers on energy efficiency, safety, and program benefits.
  • Manage field data collection and documentation, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with program requirements.
  • Coordinate with community action agencies, trade allies, and internal teams to schedule visits and track project timelines.
  • Ensure all field work meets quality, health, and safety standards.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as a Program Specialist! We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Program Field Specialist supporting our low-income energy efficiency program! Field Specialists ensure smooth, high-quality delivery of energy efficiency services to income-qualified customers, both in the field and in coordination with internal teams, while adhering to program guidelines and safety standards. This role is client- and customer-facing, working directly with low-income households, community partners, and trade allies to deliver energy savings and improve home comfort and safety. Successful candidates will reside in Mississippi or Louisiana.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee contractor network who deliver in-home energy assessments and audits for low-income customers, identifying eligible energy efficiency and weatherization measures.
  • Oversee installation of energy-saving measures (e.g., weatherstripping, water-saving devices, duct and air sealing) in customer homes.
  • Educate customers on energy efficiency, safety, and available program benefits in a respectful, culturally responsive manner.
  • Manage field data collection and documentation, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with program and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate with community action agencies, trade allies, and internal teams to schedule visits and track project timelines.
  • Ensure all field work meets quality, health, and safety standards, including proper use of testing equipment.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of relevant field, construction, HVAC, or energy efficiency experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications (BPI, HERS, etc.) a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to customer homes.
Targeted Compensation

Targeted Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000

Compensation Range

Compensation Range $48,800.00 - $66,300.00 Currency USD Type Salary
