Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. in Weymouth, MA, seeks a Program Safety Guide to promote a safe, pro-social environment for clients who come daily to receive their medication, providing courteous service and trauma-informed support.

You will greet clients, assist staff, monitor for client and staff safety, and help maintain orderly flow throughout the program and parking lot. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior experience in customer service or security; Windows computer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in customer service, security, and/or with individuals with substance use disorders. Computer experience and familiarity with Windows 2000, Outlook and Word required.

Responsibilities

• Promoting and maintaining a safe pro-social environment for clients who come to the program daily to receive their medication.
• Greeting clients, customer service, monitoring for client and staff safety, and communicating with clients in a trauma sensitive manner that guides clients in and out of the program orderly.
• Effectively managing crowd control and monitoring for safety and alertness in common areas of the program, including the parking lot.
• Using de-escalation and trauma informed strategies to manage conflict among clients and visitors in the program and utilize staff support as needed.

Monday-Saturday, 5:15am-1:45pm

Pay Rate

$20.15-$23.33/hour

The Program Safety Guide Is Responsible For

• Promoting and maintaining a safe pro-social environment for clients who come to the program daily to receive their medication.
• This includes, but is not limited to: greeting clients, customer service, monitoring for client and staff safety, and communicating with clients in a trauma sensitive manner that guides clients in and out of the program orderly.
• Effectively managing crowd control and monitoring for safety and alertness both in the common areas of the program, including the parking lot.
