Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. Weymouth OUTPATIENT PROGRAM seeks staff to support daily medication services in a fast-paced setting. You will greet clients, provide courteous customer service, and monitor safety with trauma-informed communication.

Responsibilities include crowd control, safety surveillance in common areas and parking lots, and de-escalation with staff support as needed. High school diploma or GED required; prior service in customer service or security preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service, security, or with individuals with substance use disorders.
• Computer experience with Windows/Outlook/Word required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe pro-social environment for clients receiving medication daily.
• Greet clients, provide customer service, monitor safety, and communicate trauma-informedly.
• Manage crowd control and monitor safety in common areas and parking lot.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and staff support to handle conflicts.

Job description

Location: Weymouth, MA - Outpatient Treatment Program

Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 5:15am-1:45pm

Pay Rate: $20.15-$23.33/hour

Program Responsibilities

• Promoting and maintaining a safe pro-social environment for clients who come to the program daily to receive their medication.
• This includes, but is not limited to: greeting clients, customer service, monitoring for client and staff safety, and communicating with clients in a trauma sensitive manner that guides clients in and out of the program orderly.
• Effectively managing crowd control and monitoring for safety and alertness both in the common areas of the program, including the parking lot.
• Using de-escalation and trauma informed strategies to manage conflict among clients and visitors in the program and utilize staff support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working in customer service, security, and/or with individuals with substance use disorders.
• Computer experience and familiarity with Windows 2000, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word required.
