Job summary

Summer Search Seattle is seeking a Program Operations Coordinator to manage behind-the-scenes operations for our summer programs, coordinating logistics, travel, and compliance to deliver meaningful experiences for 130+ students.

Reporting to the Director of Programs, this role works closely with site leadership, partners, and Salesforce data to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure equitable access to opportunities for diverse youth.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in operational or non-profit program roles, ideally serving youth from low income and/or communities of color.
• Experience with participant recruitment and/or experiential summer programs is a plus.
• Strong customer-service orientation and ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Summer Experience logistics for 130+ high school students across 2–4 week programs.
• Arrange travel, hotels, visas, immunizations, health insurance, IDs, spending money, and pre-trip requirements.
• Plan pre/post-trip events and staff trainings to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with site leadership to implement process improvements for scalability.
• Maintain Salesforce records for applications and program data; generate timely updates.
• Communicate effectively with partners, families, and participants to share information and resolve issues.
