Job summary

Summer Search Seattle is hiring a Program Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth delivery of our programs and experiences for high school students. You will manage the behind-the-scenes operations that make summer experiences possible, from logistics to participant support, reporting to the Director of Programs.

In this hybrid role, you will coordinate travel, housing, and pre/post-trip events, train site staff, and partner with schools to recruit participants while maintaining data integrity

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in operational or nonprofit program roles.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Solutions-oriented, adaptable, and curious.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Summer Experience logistics for 130+ students.
• Manage travel, lodging, visas, health insurance, and spending money.
• Plan pre- and post-trip events and staff training.
• Develop process improvements with site leadership.
• Serve as main contact with partner hosts and ensure timely information sharing.
• Maintain Salesforce records of applications and updates.
• Attend site leadership meetings to align program components.
• Support outreach with partner schools and community organizations.
