Job summary

3ie International Initiative for Impact Evaluation in Washington, DC, seeks a hybrid Program & Operations Manager to lead program and grant management, office administration and events. The role reports to the Deputy Director Strategic Partnerships and the EPL Director for admin support, driving cross‑functional work in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Affairs, Public Health, Development Studies, Public Administration, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• At least four years’ experience in program, project or grant management, or office administration.
• Essential: project coordination, budget tracking, event donor reporting and stakeholder coordination.
• Desirable: event management, proposal development, US nonprofit compliance and banking administration.
• Experience planning and managing events, including international or high-level meetings, and managing vendors and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide project and grant administration and management support from start-up to closure, including work plans, donor reports and budgets.
• Monitor delivery timeframes and budgets, support risk management and ensure funder compliance.
• Assist hiring and onboarding of consultants and coordinate inputs for proposals.
• Collaborate on partnerships, track new business opportunities and contribute to concept notes and presentations.
• Support outreach activities and coordination of events within Strategic Communications.
