Capital One’s Students and Grads team is at the forefront of developing future leaders. This role supports the Students & Grads Program portfolio, delivering programs that fuel business imperatives and impact while developing associates at the start of their careers.

The Principal Coordinator will support planning and logistics of signature events and engagement strategy, using strong planning, organization, and communication skills to ensure meticulous execution and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• 1 year of experience in corporate event planning or project management.
• 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• 2 years of experience in corporate event planning or project management.
• 2 years of experience in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Experience working in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with key program stakeholders to execute signature Students & Grads Program Events (Experience Weeks, Onboarding, Graduation) with logistics support.
• Manage program budgets, including tracking, forecasting, and auditing information.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance associate experience and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance to policies and procedures through monitoring and coaching.
• Coordinate ongoing campus hire and internship trainings and communications.
• Manage program communications through calendar, Google Site, mailbox, newsletter and Slack.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal clients, stakeholders, and external vendors.
