Job summary

Marsell Wellness Center seeks an experienced manager to oversee program staff and ensure accreditation readiness. The role requires autonomy in a fast-paced setting and guides responses to sexual abuse and harassment issues.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with law enforcement, and ensuring confidentiality of investigations, while maintaining strong professional relationships with regulators, clients, and partners.

Qualifications

• 1+ years prevention/education of sexual abuse/assault, crisis interventions, and/or work with victims.
• 3+ years working with child welfare standards, quality assurance, and/or compliance.
• 5+ years of progressive employment with social services or childcare agency or organization.
• Certification as sexual assault counselor (S.A.R.T. Certification) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program staff to ensure appropriate uses of resources.
• Oversee daily operations of center.
• Assist in recruiting functions/home study functions/home inspection functions when needed.
• Train staff in home study and home inspection functions.
• Supervise assignments of Resource Family Homes to Case Managers/Social Workers.
• Coordinate with law enforcement when a victim of sexual abuse identified.
• Attend and conduct training of sexual assault screening/recognition with agency staff and foster parents.
• Ensure center compliance with government agencies regarding preventing, detecting, and responding to abuse/harassment.
• Screen all Special Incidents and police reports related to abuse/harassment.
• Ensure confidentiality of incident reports as required by Health and Safety Code 153(b).
• Attend and conduct crisis interventions with staff and service recipients.
• Maintain professional relationships with employees, recipients, contracts, and regulators.
• Assist with intake/placement of children.
• Travel to transport children to parents/sponsor on rotation with other positions.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor/management.
