RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Components/Obsolescence Engineer to support DoD programs onsite. The role involves managing component obsolescence, coordinating with design, contracts, and supply chain to mitigate risks and optimize lifetime buys.
The candidate will analyze data, develop obsolescence strategies, and participate in contract negotiations, with travel as needed. A STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience are required.

The selected candidate will perform and/or assist in the performance of Parts Engineering, Components Engineering or Applications Engineering tasks supporting programs in the Proposal, System Design Description, Low Rate Initial Production, Production and Support phases. Position will require day to day interface with Designers, Contracts, Estimating, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other disciplines.
This position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
